Speak Silently, Nashville Fashion

Model Holly Finley walks for designer Anna Redmon

Byrd's Eye View - Speak Silently
Nashville's most fashionable folks gathered over the weekend at Uptown 162, a special events space across from The Standard on Eighth Avenue, for Speak Silently, a fashion and art event hosted by Kendall Moore and associates. The event was a benefit for The Home Foundation, a charitable organization founded by singer-songwriter Natalie Grant that's dedicated to the eradication of human trafficking, both domestically and abroad.

Guests poured into the sleek space to peruse art by international artists provided by Shortridge Fine Art and enjoy performances by Jonny Lang, Tommy Sims, Matt Ridenour, Brenn, Radioactive Candy and DJ Flatfoot Hustle.

Models, including Salome Steinmann from Bravo TV's Make Me a Supermodel
, walked the runway in gorgeous outfits by local designer Anna Redmon and jewelry from Brazil Boutique, all of which was styled by a new local company called Panache.

Early in the evening, Grant spoke to the guests, telling them, "By being here tonight, purchasing a ticket and participating in the silent auction, you are helping people come out of bondage and reclaim their life!"
